The purpose of APEX is to enlist, train, equip, qualify, and support candidates who have a desire to plant churches in emerging communities. Your answers and responses on this form will be evaluated with this in mind and will be kept confidential. The people who will have access to this information will be limited to those who may have a role in evaluation and assessment, those who will be coaching your ministry, and others whom you authorize.

The next steps in our process will include:

Completion of pre-assessment packet items:

- Personalities test for you and your spouse (Click here . Please submit all results to churchplanting@granburybaptist.org)
- Spiritual gifts survey for you and your spouse (Click here).
- Criminal background check for you and your spouse ( a link will be sent after the application has been received and acknowledged by our admin team).
- A couple's assessment will be sent pending the acceptance of the application (look for email from Greg Baxter pastorgbb@gmail.com).
- Full length video of a sermon ( a link will be sent to upload your sermon after application has been received).
- Pre-Assessment fee $100 (Assessment fee $350)

  The next APEX assessment event will be March 2nd-4th in Granbury, TX
  In order to be considered for the next assessment, pre-assessment packets must be complete by february 15TH.
An invitation to an assessment event where an assessors will evaluate six critical areas of the candidate’s life which will result in an assessment status of "approval, approval with conditions, or not approved at this time". Critical areas to be evaluated are listed below:
- Call and character
- Leadership ability
- Emotional and spiritual health
- Preaching ability
- Church planter/pastor’s wife experience
- Strength of marriage.
Addition of APEX approved church planters information to the website.
Participation in a cohort led by APEX certified trainers at a church near your target area.
Connection with an experienced church planter coach.
