Blake Fortner | Three Trails Community | Kansas City, MO
Blake is a 2005 graduate of Baptist Bible College. He and his wife Meagan were married in 2005 and have four boys (Ben, Owen, Liam, and Calvin).
Blake and his family had the privilege of serving as BBFI missionaries to Ethiopia for four years (2007-2011) until God brought them back home to deal with some developmental challenges their oldest son was facing. During this time, Blake and his family returned to their sending church (Abundant Life Church, Lee’s Summit MO) where Blake served on staff as a pastor for six years. Over those six years Blake began to feel that God was calling him and his family to plant a church in South Kansas City. Having been a former missionary, Blake has a burden to see disciples made of all nations. South Kansas city is a melting pot of people from all over the world. Many of them, from countries where Christianity is illegal. Blake, along with his and several other families from their sending church, are excited to begin serving the community of South Kansas City and see many disciples made.
With Blake having had the privilege of growing up and experiencing life in this incredibly diverse community, it is his desire is to fully embrace this aspect of our city and promote it within the church as well. With all the racial tension in our country there is not better place to bring healing and unity than from within the church. At Three Trails Community, our passion is to see disciples made of every nation represented in South KC and to see those disciples continue to reproduce themselves in the exact place God has put them. We are excited to have the opportunity to reach the world from South KC!

Pastor Lynn grew up on the North Side of Houston Texas. Pastor Lynn has previously served as associated minister the New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where Dr. Wiley L. Dunn, Sr. was his Pastor. Having being commissioned by God to plant a new church, Pastor Lynn and family left New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and began to served in two different locations on the North Side of Houston while attempting to establish a group of people to start a church, but the doors did not open as he expected. Not willing to give up on this mandate giving by the Lord, an opportunity presented itself in the Angleton, Texas (South Houston) area. A small group of believers at Burrell Chapel gave him an invitation to come and lead them into the future. After being convinced in my heart that this was the Lord's will, Lynn accepted the challenge and decided to move forward with a new organization that promises to be the ground work for a new-planted church in the South Houston area. Ron Taylor | New York City, NY
Ron and Susan Taylor were married in 1997 and in the fall of 1998 moved to Springfield, Missouri, shortly after surrendering to ministry. At a chapel service during their freshman year at Baptist Bible College, God began working in Ron’s heart about church planting in America. He expressed his burden to Susan, and together they began praying about the urban communities of the United States. God quickly began to reveal to them the great need among the New England states and even more specifically in New York City. Upon graduation from BBC, God opened the door for them to move to Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and work in their home church, Westwood Baptist, under the leadership of Dr. Steve Proctor. For 4 1/2 years Ron was an assistant pastor over the youth. During their years at Westwood, God continued to burden their hearts for New York City, and in October of 2005 God confirmed that call at a missions conference with Dr. Charles Shoemaker of Church Planting America. Ron and Susan are currently living in New York City serving as church planting missionaries.
